About Tianyuan Title

The Tianyuan Title (also known as Chinese Tengen) is sponsored by Chinese Weiqi Association, New People's Evening News and New People's Weiqi Monthly Magazine. In term 1 the final was a best-of-three as were the semi-finals. Now the final is a best-of-three and the semi finals are direct knockout. Komi is 7.5 points, the champion prize is 50,000 Chinese Yuan (about US$ 6 thousands).
