The world’s oldest international Go contest in history, Fujitsu Cup, has come to an end after 24 consecutive years. On December 19, the Chinese Weiqi Association received the official letter from the Japanese Go Association informing of the decision to close the Fujitsu Cup. Coincidentally, another Chinese company-sponsored world Go tournament will launch early next year.2011-12-21
The first edition of the SportAccord World Mind Games is being held in Beijing. Players from all over the world gather to compete in Bridge, Chess, Draughts, Go and Xiangqi.
