On 7/7, Gu Li 9p (age 25) defeated Lee Changho 9p (age 32) by resignation in the final of the 21st Fujitsu Cup and won the champion, Gu Li also becomes the first non-Korean player who won three world champions. In the 3rd-4th place final, Chang Hao 9p beat Liu Xing 7p by resignation. The champion and runner-up prize are 15 million and 5 million Yen respectively.

The game 13 of the 6th Jeongganjang Cup Women Go Contest was held on 4/3, Lee Minjin 5p defeated Rui Naiwei 9p by 7.5 points and again helped Korean team to win the champion with three consecutive wins. So far, this contest came to an end, both Chinese team and Japanese just won three games each, Korean team won total seven games. Korean chief commander Park JiEun 9p didn't get to play and Korean team successfully defended their champion. The game rules are one hour each side in regular time and three times 40-second overtime. The champion and runner-up prize are 75 million and 15 million South Korean Won respectively.
