- From 1976 to 1982, won 1st-6th Kisei titles for 6 consecutive years

- In 1991, won 39th Oza title, in 1992 at the age of 66, won 40th Oza title again.

- On Dec. 14th, 1999, got expelled from the Nihon Kiin because he started selling diplomas to amateurs by himself for a fee.
